FRESH ACT
Fresh Act is for anyone who loves acting and wants to spend a weekend playing, exploring, and creating. You don’t need any experience – just curiosity and a sense of fun. Together we’ll discover new ways to bring scripts and characters to life, with plenty of room for laughter, surprises, and those wonderful “aha!” moments. Across the weekend, we’ll dip into a mix of classic and modern texts, trying out techniques that help unlock scenes and spark creativity. You’ll pick up new skills along the way, but in a relaxed, supportive setting where the focus is on enjoying the process. Set in the beautiful surroundings of Wydale, this is more than a workshop – it’s a chance to take a break, meet new people, and share the joy of making theatre together. We will be running an array of refreshing classes that explore exciting ways of finding spontaneous and surprising moments of theatre, as well as giving you the artistic space for a guided creative retreat. Join us, and your fellow performers, in the beautiful surroundings of Wydale to make time, make friends, and make theatre.
