Technical Lead

Are you a skilled theatre technician ready to take the next step in your career?

 

Riding Lights Theatre Company is looking for a Technical Lead to head up all technical and production activity at the Friargate Theatre in York. You’ll play a central role in bringing our productions to life — managing technical staff, overseeing equipment, leading on health and safety compliance, and acting as the key technical contact for in-house shows, visiting companies, and venue hires. Whether you’re on the road supporting a touring production or in the building keeping things running smoothly, you’ll thrive in a fast-paced, collaborative environment where no two days are the same.

 

If you have experience in a producing theatre setting, solid knowledge of EOS lighting desks, digital sound, and QLab, and a passion for excellent live performance, we’d love to hear from you.

Evening and weekend work, along with touring, will be required. Full clean driving licence essential.
