Stage by Stage adapts a text for an ensemble performance at the end of the week. Develop individual acting skills in workshops/rehearsal and explore the production process (from text to staging).
After last year’s epic The Grapes of Wrath, this year SBS will turn its hand to Cloudstreet, Tim Winton’s award-winning, rumbustious tale of two families thrown together in one rambling old house in Perth (Australia).
Casting will ensure that each actor has a challenging but manageable contribution to bring to this earthy tale of mud-slinging and miracles, grit and vision.
