Some photos and videos of just a few
of the things that went on during the
fundraising weekend.
IMPROTHON
Here at Friargate a group of 18 people kept us entertained for a whole 24 hours with non-stop improvisation. Together they covered 231 ½ hours. Thankfully, no one collapsed and their efforts raised over £1,000! Watch the highlights here.

SKYDIVING
Down in Oxford Riding Lights members Angela, Darcey, Richard and Heather, joined by stage manager Rob, plummeted 13,000 feet through the air to raise money for The Sky’s the Limit. Edith Kirkwood, soon to join our 2010 Roughshod company, jumped out over Swansea on 20th September. There are even more skydives happening over the next few weeks. Well done to all – you survived!

YOUTH THEATRE FANCY DRESS BIKE RIDE
The Youth Theatre cycled for 27 miles on the Tissington Trail, in fancy dress. Money is still being collected but they have raised at least £1,000, with an extra £500 for their very helpful bag packing at Morrison’s as well. Thanks to the Youth Theatre for going to such great lengths to raise money for Riding Lights.

SPONSORED 24 HOUR NON-STOP THEATRE...WITH NO INTERVAL!

Unfortunately swine flu has put a slight delay to Paul, Kelvin, Desmond and Snowy’s Scafell Pike expedition, but rest assured a new date in October has been set when they will complete the challenge to do a remake of the movie The Ten Commandments on top of England’s highest peak. To sponsor them go to our JustGiving page HERE
