ALAN CHRISTOPHER

Alan Christopher trained at East 15 Acting School and Graduated 2005. Since then has played the title role in Macbeth directed by Crispin Bonham Carter, Touchstone in The Festival Players production of As You Like It and Don Pedro in their subsequent tour of Much Ado About Nothing in addition to several T.V shorts including The View by Lisa Burke. In addition Alan has directed a number of productions including James and The Giant Peach and Romeo and Juliet at City Varieties Music Hall in Leeds in conjunction with the Grand Theatre. Alan also runs a Youth Theatre Company alongside his professional company Silent Muse for whom he writes and directs. Alan is looking forward to the exciting challenge of his first tour with Riding Lights and being involved in the good work they are renowned for producing.

FRED DENNO

trained at Webber Douglas and had seasons at the Octagon Theatre, Bolton, and at the Northcott, Exeter, before joining Riding Lights for the first tour of St John’s Gospel. Since then he has appeared for the company in Mistero Buffo, Augustus Carp Esq, Calvary (2006), The Passion, Friendly Fire, On Christmas Night, The Sacred Diary of Adrian Plass, Rolling in the Aisles and Walkout! Parts played have included Benvolio in Romeo and Juliet and Victor Frankenstein in Frankenstein. He has also performed a one-man show, The Story of Job, and directed The Second Coming for Pacific Light in Singapore. He has completed successful tours of The Hiding Place, The Cross and the Switchblade and The Vigil, for Saltmine Theatre Company. Most recently he has worked with Riding Lights on Salaam Bethlehem, Redemption Song and, in autumn 2008, the Living Stones tour.

Jamie Higgins Profile Picture

JAMIE HIGGINS

Jamie joined Riding Lights Roughshod in both 2008 and 2009 with a considerable amount of professional experience behind him. After graduating from York St. John University, he has appeared in three tours for Rhema and has been a regular presenter for Greenbelt Radio. For Riding Lights, in addition to Roughshod, he appeared in On Christmas Night in 2008. Television credits include The It Crowd and Trial and Retribution and an advert for Championship Manager 7. He also appeared in the award-winning Riding Lights/Bible Society short film Unscripted.

Rachel Wilcock Profile Picture

RACHEL WILCOCK

Rachel graduated from the Webber Douglas Academy of Dramatic Art in 2005. For Riding Lights she has appeared in Melchior’s Magical Mystery Quest in 2008 and with Roughshod in 2009. Rachel won a prestigious award as Best Supporting Actress in the Hollywood-based 168 Hour Film Project for her part in the Riding Lights/Bible Society short film Unscripted.
