Riding Lights Theatre Company does all this...

	We create between 2 and 4 NEW plays every year
	We tour between 6 and 8 productions of new plays and classics across the UK every year
	We perform to a live audience of around 180,000 people (and millions more through TV and radio performances) every year
	We give over 500 full performances every year
	We visit over 300 schools, teaching and performing, every year
	We run workshops and perform in up to 40 prisons every year
	We welcome over 100 people to our Summer Theatre School, and look forward to working with dozens of teenagers in our newly-established Youth Theatre, every year
	We publish books of sketches and plays, of which there are hundreds of performances, by groups all over the world, every year
	We are developing our new home in York - FRIARGATE THEATRE - where we can create more shows and launch more national tours to reach larger and larger audiences throughout the UK every year
	We take our own brand of professional theatre with a spiritual heart into the very heart of communities across the UK - from village to inner city - every year …

How do we do it?

Well, we couldn't do it without the brilliant support of our 3500 Members - and that number is growing all the time as more and more people see us perform.

Riding Lights has remained steadfastly independent throughout its life. We would never have made it this far without our Members. Being a Member is easy. There is no fixed cost - any donation, however big or small, will give you a place in the nationwide family of Riding Lights. All we ask is that your donation is regular, so that we can predict our income. In return, we give YOU the chance to be practically involved in the life of an exciting, innovative - and growing - theatre company.
